Built on the river bank about eighty feet above Fowey Harbour, this property enjoys a delightful woodland garden and views of the river through the trees. Ships and boats from all over the world pass within a hundred yards of the property.

This spacious single storey building provides very comfortable accommodation for two people. There is one double bedroom and a separate bathroom with a bath, electric shower, wash basin and toilet.

The kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and dish washer. There is a snug sitting room with a woodburner, television, video and CD/Tuner.

Adjoining the sitting room is a large conservatory which overlooks the river. This offers a sitting area with a choice of comfortable chairs and a dining table so that visitors can enjoy Cornish views throughout the year. Doors lead out to the garden.

Night storage heaters provide the main heating and there is also a wood burning stove for extra heating as required. Coal and logs are provided. The rent also covers the cost of electricity and the supply of bed linen.

There is a good sized garden that is ideal for sitting out, barbeques and for a dog to run about in. In spring the garden is filled with bird song and in the summer there are a variety of butterflies on the wild flowers. Garden furniture and a barbecue are provided. A dinghy can be hired locally.

Parking for one car is provided free approximately 15 yards from the property.

The Old Ferry Inn is 200 yards away. This is a famous, old pub that offers both restaurant and bar meals. In Bodinnick there is a ferry which takes cars and foot passengers over to Fowey. There is a good variety of shops, restaurants and places of interest in Fowey.

Jordan Cottage may be unsuitable for some visitors as it is approached by steps. We regret that children are not allowed at this property. A well behaved dog may be allowed by prior arrangement.
