Delightfully situated amongst sheltering trees and lawns that lead down to the water's edge, Clovertown offers spacious accommodation, peace and tranquillity. There are good views of the river from the cottage and conservatory. From the garden you may watch the many beautiful estuary birds, including herons, exploring the sandbanks at low tide. The river is wide at this point and ideal for boating for four hours each side of high water. Small boats can be launched and recovered nearby and may be beached at the end of the garden.

There are four bedrooms. The large master bedroom has great views of the river, a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with bath, washbasin and toilet. There is a further double bedroom and two bedrooms with two single beds in each. A further shower room with shower, toilet and washbasin is adjacent to these rooms.

All the living rooms are downstairs. There is a lovely open plan kitchen with a large dining table and a sitting area beside the wood-burning stove with a television. The fitted kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. A washing machine and tumble dryer are provided in the utility room.

From the kitchen, a door opens into a generous conservatory with good views down the garden to the river. There is also a large sitting room with views of the river and French windows opening into the garden. A digital television and DVD player are provided.

Outside, there is a large garden with a patio and gently sloping lawn which ends at the riverbank. Steps lead down from the garden to the shore. There is parking for four cars. The large garage is used as a games room with table tennis, football table and dart board.

Clovertown has oil-fired central heating. The cost of oil and electricity are included in the rent. All bed linen and towels are supplied.

Cliff is a tiny hamlet on the East bank of the River Fowey about three miles from the sea. The nearest shop and inn are at Lerryn one-and-a-half miles away. A wider range of shops is available in Lostwithiel, a distance of five miles.
