This terraced house has excellent views across the harbour to Fowey from
all of the main rooms. It is situated near the top of the village, just a
hundred yards from the coastal path with its stunning views out to sea and
also from the car park. The shops, inns and the Ferry to Fowey are all
within three hundred yards.
There are three bedrooms which are all on the first floor. At the front there are two bedrooms both with great harbour views. One has a double bed and the other has a single. The third bedroom is at the rear of the house and has two single beds.
Accessed via a half landing is a bathroom with bath, washbasin and toilet and sloping ceilings. A further toilet and shower are located in the utility room.
Downstairs, there is a generous sitting room with excellent harbour views from the bay window, a wood effect electric stove, television with inbuilt DVD player. A door from the hall opens onto the front garden with a patio overlooking the harbour which is a great place to sit and watch all the boating activity below. This garden is bordered by a low retaining wall so we suggest this property is not suitable for children under eight.
A separate dining room has seating for six people and overlooks the rear courtyard. The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. A door opens from the kitchen to a sheltered rear courtyard which enjoys the sun from mid morning. Off the rear courtyard is a utility room with a shower, toilet, washing machine and tumble dryer. Steps lead up from the rear courtyard to a sloping rear garden with a sitting area and limited views of the water across the rooftops.
Heating is by night storage heaters. The cost of all electricity is included in the rent. All bed linen is supplied. A broadband connection is available at the property.
Unloading is possible within 50 yards of the house. Parking is available in the village car park around 100 yards away. Weekly tickets can be purchased.
As this property is accessed by steps and a sloping path, some visitors may find it inconvenient.
